In a world where wattage exceeds 10,000/hr, several thousand amperes and several thousand volts ... Our technology is active in a world of high voltages and high currents of this class. In this field, often measuring instruments cannot endure measurements, which makes inspections and testing that much more difficult.
It is not uncommon that demand for such equipment comes at intervals of several decades or that customers have never dealt with such equipment. This equipment is used to evaluate performance of contact materials of high current breakers. It features a host of test modes and allows testing at various voltages and currents. It provides data recording support with logging and saving of voltage and current waveforms during testing. The system consists of a primary transformer panel, RL thyristor panel, operating panel and material test chamber.

This equipment provides power supplies for high voltage tests of a maximum 10 kV DC 25 A. It incorporates a transformer, vacuum tube, voltage regulator, rectifying circuitry and safety devices.

This power supply equipment makes it possible to feed electric current to special types of cable wiring so as to use the generated heat to dry the cable sheathing. Because temperatures cannot be externally measured due to the characteristics of the dried sheathing, the system incorporates instrumentation for inferring cable conductor temperature from the amount of current.

It complies with strict safety standards and regulations intended to ensure safety in the use of electric equipment, etc. Kawahara Electric Works makes insulated transformers for electric medical care equipment, compliant with JIS-T1022, JIS-T0601-1, JEC2200-1995 and JEM1333.
Capacity: 0.5, 1.5, 2, 3 and 7.5 KVA models are made for Japan, while models for international markets go as high as 10 KVA.

This unit produces the power supply for quick heating equipment that requires spurts of massive currents of a max. 8,000 ~ 10,000 A at low voltages of 10 V or less. It incorporates overload protection and cannot be exposed to corrosive gases or dust. It is fabricated in an environment that must prevent load short-circuiting at all costs.

This unit combines disconnection alarms, current detecting CTs and voltage detecting TRs. It serves as a disconnection alarm panel of a diffusion furnace used for semiconductor manufacture. If a disconnection is detected, notification is made via an alarm output signal. The power control component (thyristor) differs slightly whether using phase control or zero crossing control.
